Saku Soukka works mostly with film and photography. He has made master’s degree of visual arts in the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki 2016, and before that he studied photography. In his works encounters and dialogues between the organic and industrial as well as internal and external are present. He has had about 25 solo exhibitions and participated in about 30 group exhibitions in the visual arts context in Finland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Hungary, Netherlands, South Korea and Germany. Now he is making his first feature-length documentary film which tells about the Extinction Rebellion Finland. His passion is to create works that are psychologically profound, poetic and visually fascinating.
